Wind was half an hour late this morning and so was I. Nice on 11m as wind built until almost full depower. Wind eased for 20 mins then back. Robustly built windsurfer planing well on 5.8m so guess if was average 20 knots when wind was up. Tried lots of toeside and learned I was switching at too low speed, and wakeboarding has helped in leaning more. Also sailing with more power now and pushing myself. Good fun. Packed up after 3 hours as had to get home, and getting a bit crowded. Super day, blue skies, clear water over rocks, seaweed and sand - lovely.
A few wingfoilers out, looks hard in chop but they are progressing fast and surfing swells. Yesterday saw one flying gybes in 6-8knots in Lligwy and today same guy was surfing in 20knots. Winging is catching on.
